Overall appointment went well Friday (or at least with my blood pressure) so I am still on the lower dose of the medicine.  It ended up being a long, hard day but that was because my veins are so bad and they had a real hard time taking blood and then putting an IV in.  As part of the clinical protocal I am supposed to get tested every 2 hours for a total of 3 times during that day but because the getting blood and the IV and then them trying to take blood out of the IV I only get two of the tests completed.  So hopefully it won't cause any problems with the drug company and then I will just go back on the 4th of March for my next appointment.

I have to track my blood pressure everyday and report it every couple of days to my nurse.  Today's was over 140/90 which is the the max. it's allowed to be for the study (it was 144/93) not too much off as far as I'm concerned but I guess the doctor's is as they called me today.  I have to starting tomorrow, take my blood pressure, then take an increased amount of BP medicine and then take my XL drug and then do the same thing Wednesday morning and contact them with the BP on Wednesday.  In the meantime I have to go back to my family doctor and have him track it better, he needs to increase or change what I am taking so that it stays below 140/90 otherwise I might get pulled off.  UGH... so frustrating...

That's about it for now, I'll update again later this week.  Sorry for keeping it short but didn't want to wait another day without posting and I'm pretty tired so this is it for now.

Thank you again for all your continued prayers and support.

Love & Peace
