Well I officially felt like one of those crazy patients.  I ended up going to the hospital last night via ambulance (ugh).  I woke up yesterday morning with pains in my right chest and basically just go worse through out the day.  (I was on routing on the Saints so it's not cause of Football - lol) I was pretty sure it wasn't a heart attack just didn't know what the heck was going on, I never felt anything like this.  So I guess around 10pm I finally asked my family like what do you do, at what point do I get concerned???  They had me go back across the street (my girlfriend is a nurse practitioner) and tell Sue what was going on.  She checked my blood pressure and it was 201/98 did it again and 198/100, and another one real high still so everyone was kind of freaking out and next thing you know it I'm in an ambulance.  Feel like such a fool but what can you do right, better safe then sorry.

I think overall my biggest concern was that if it was my heart I can be pulled off the study.  I have always had spot on blood pressure and when I went Thurs it was starting to get high so know I'm worried I can get pulled off cause of this too.  I continued to monitor very high 200's over 100's, they did a chest xray too and did reach the oncologist so all were under agreement it's not a heart attack but most likely is high blood pressure and Dr. B told them that it's a normal side effect so to tell me I won't get pulled off of the drug and for them to start me on blood pressure pills.  Whew...

Still feel like crap today with the pain they are going with musculoskeletal chest pain which again maybe another side effect so everyday there is more and more going on that is showing I got the drug and not the placebo.

I know go back to U of P on the 19th.  I'll keep you all posted.

Love & Peace

Sue
